Dr. Clifton Cox was born and raised in Sebring, Florida. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2010 from the University of Florida. He then graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2013 from Palmer College of Chiropractic where he met his wife, Dr. Patricia Cox. Dr. Clifton Cox was hand selected as the Bio Chemistry tutor for Palmer College during his time as a student. It is one of the most challenging classes in the curriculum at Palmer and Dr. Clifton was able to help over 6 graduating classes get through the difficult subject with his vast knowledge of Bio Chemistry.
After graduation, he worked for several other doctors gaining valuable experience down in South Florida. In June of 2017, he opened Cox Chiropractic Care with his wife and is honored to serve the community of Port Saint Lucie by helping as many people as possible to not only reduce symptoms of pain and discomfort, but to enrich their lives through whole body wellness and to get to the cause of the symptoms a patient is experiencing. Dr. Cox’s hobbies include bowling, wrestling and anything to do with the Florida Gators.
Dr. Patricia Cox grew up in Miami, Florida. She is a 2006 graduate of Stetson University, and a 2015 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. In between undergraduate school and chiropractic school, she served as an active duty United States Marine from 2006-2010.
She is very proud to be a veteran and loves interacting with and taking care of other veterans. She also works very well with children and pregnant patients. Dr. Cox is passionate about getting children the proper spinal care early on to set them up for a healthy life and maintain it through chiropractic and a wellness lifestyle.
Dr. Cox wanted to change lives just as chiropractic changed her life. She specializes in educating her patients on the hidden toxins found around the home and in our food. She has a natural approach to maintaining health through nutrition, supplementation and proper spinal alignment. She is the proud mother of four beautiful daughters and is married to Dr. Clifton Cox. Her hobbies include crochet, cake decorating and playing the clarinet.
